Creative and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning is essential when dental injuries absent in traditional trauma resources are encountered. The utility of advanced diagnostic technologies, namely CBCT imaging, to develop a full picture of the nature of injuries present, cannot be underscored. This expert panel discussion will review outside the box trauma diagnosis and treatment, including fracture and cemental tear diagnosis and management, as well as discuss the application of regenerative endodontic treatment and intentional replantation following traumatic injuries.
