Vasilis Kapralos, a dentist and dental researcher from Kastoria, Greece, has a keen interest in Endodontics. He graduated from Aristotle University in 2015. After completing his military service, he participated in an Erasmus placement program and worked as a guest researcher at the Nordic Institute of Dental Materials (NIOM) and the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Oslo οn the antimicrobial properties of endodontic sealers. Over the last five years, he has dedicated himself to research at NIOM and the University of Oslo, focusing on the interactions between irrigation fluids and endodontic sealers during his doctoral studies. His research, titled "Interactions Between Irrigation Fluids and Endodontic Sealers: Assessing Biological, Physicomechanical, and Chemical Aspects," was successfully defended in April 2024. Currently, he is applying his research experience to clinical practice while pursuing postgraduate studies in Clinical Endodontics at the Center for Dental Medicine, University of Zurich, Switzerland, attending the Master program in conservative dentistry with a focus on Endodontology. He has approximately ten publications.
