David Colmenar, D.M.D., M.S.D.

Former Resident, Adjunct Associate Professor
University of Texas at Houston

David is originally from Southern California and attended The University of Texas at Austin (BS Chemistry, 2016) and the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in Portland, ME (DMD, 2020). In conjunction with Shofu Dental Corporation (Kyoto, Japan), he and Dr. Takashi Komabayashi studied the sealing capacity and retreatment removability of a prototype surface pre-reacted glass ionomer root canal sealer. David completed his endodontic residency at UTHealth Houston (MSD, 2024) under the mentorship of Dr. Timothy Kirkpatrick. He is currently practicing endodontics in Houston and serving as adjunct assistant professor at UTHealth Houston in the Department of Endodontics.
