Dr. Satish Alapati is an Associate Professor in the Department of Endodontics and serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor in Pediatric Dentistry and Bioengineering at the University of Illinois Chicago. He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), a Certificate in General Practice Residency, a Master's degree in Dental Materials, a Ph.D. in Oral Biology from Ohio State University, and a Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Illinois Chicago. Dr. Alapati has co-authored two book chapters and published 40 research papers, in addition to delivering over 100 presentations at national and international conferences. From 2015 to 2019, he served as a Trustee for the Foundation for Endodontics and is a member of the Illinois State Dental Society Board of Trustees, as well as the American Dental Association Science & Research Institute Council. Currently, he participates in subcommittees focused on Dental Products and Dental Informatics. Dr. Alapati is also actively involved in the Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois Dental Organization. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Alapati practices endodontics at the Allen Anderson Faculty Dental Practice.
