Resident
University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry
Islam Ali is a first-year resident of Endodontics at Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of the Paciifc. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2010 and Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics in 2016 from Faculty of Dentistry, Mansoura University, Egypt. He completed his PhD in Oral Microbiology related to Endodontics at Faculty of Dentistry, University of Hong Kong in 2021. During his PhD, Islam received the prestigious University of Hong Kong Postgraduate Fellowship for his academic excellence. He also completed a research fellowship funded by Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Oral Microbiology & Immunology at School of Dentistry, OHSU between Jan 2023 – June 2024 . During his career, Islam presented his research in the general and regional meetings of the IADR and AAE and published his research in peer-reviewed journals. in addition he is invited to peer-review manuscripts submitted to dental and endodontic journals such as Clinical Oral Investigations, International Endodontic Journal, Australian Endodontic journal and Restorative Dentistry & Endodontics.
