Endodontist Resident

Stephanie Sawyer is from Long Island, NY. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2021. Following graduation, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at UAB Hospital in 2022.
After her residency, she worked in private practice in McCalla, AL, for two years, providing general dental care. During this time, she developed an interest in endodontics. She is now a first-year endodontic resident at UAB School of Dentistry, where she is focused on advancing her knowledge and skills in the field. Her research focuses on alternative irrigation solutions and the application of artificial intelligence in radiology.
