Dr. Crystal Song is an endodontic resident at Texas A&M School of Dentistry and a recent graduate of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she earned her DMD. Her research background spans several topics in dentistry, including clinical management of deep caries from an endodontic perspective, vital pulp therapy, the influence of race and bias in post-endodontic pain treatment, gender representation in dental academia and leadership, and trends in dental school admissions. Currently, she is exploring research in fractal dimensional analysis in endodontic diagnosis as well as dental anatomy and morphology. Dr. Song’s work has been published in multiple journals such as the Journal of Dental Education, European Journal of Dental Education, and Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry. Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Song enjoys drawing, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. She is honored and excited to be a part of the AAE and the endodontic community.
