Endodontics Resident
University of Texas at Houston
I am currently a first-year resident at the University of Texas, Health Science Center at Houston. Before this, I practiced general dentistry in Nashville, TN, where I also attended Meharry Medical College for combined dental (DDS) and graduate (PhD) training. My previous research played key roles in a wide variety of projects, from studying how hormones regulate orofacial pain to exploring the oral and gut microbiome, as well as looking at salivary gland and gut function in rodent models. I most recently served as Assistant Professor in the Endodontics Department at Meharry Medical College. Currently, I am interested in clinical outcomes in endodontics.
