Dr. Su-Min Lee is a board certified Endodontist and currently an Assistant professor in the Department of Endodontics, and a Endodontic clinic director at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (Penn SDM).
She obtained her dental degree from Chosun University College of Dentistry, South Korea in 2003. Following this, she pursued postgraduate training at the Department of Conservative Dentistry at Chosun University College of Dentistry, where she earned her Master of Science in Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Lee subsequently operated a private practice in South Korea for four years before joining Penn SDM.
In 2012, Dr. Lee completed her certificate program at Penn, and in 2015, she obtained Doctor of Science in Dentistry from the same institution. Since 2016, Dr. Lee has served as a full-time faculty member at Penn SDM. In addition to her academic role, she has provided specialized care to patients with special needs and pediatric patients under general anesthesia. Her research interests include the biology of the dental stem cells, regeneration of the dental pulp, and biomaterials in Endodontics.
