Dr. Devon M. Ptak, DMD, MPH, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, dedicated to evidence-based care and research in endodontics. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, an MPH from Dartmouth College. She completed her DMD and specialty training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she now serves as part-time faculty in the Department of Endodontics. Dr. Ptak’s research, published in journals such as the Journal of Endodontics, covers a range of topics relevant to modern endodontics, including the pulpal response to restorative procedures, diagnostic imaging choices, and resorption. In her clinical practice, Dr. Ptak leverages advancements in endodontic technology to optimize patient outcomes and collaborates actively with referring dentists. She is a dedicated member of the AAE, ADA, and MDS, where she contributes to the advancement of endodontic practice through advocacy and education.
