I have a dual position of associate professor at both the Oral Biology department and the Endodontics department in Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. I have expertise in pulp biology and regeneration. The overall goal of her research is to regenerate a pulp-dentin complex in situ - within the dental pulp space, using endogenous stem cells (cell homing) and/or exogenous stem cells, employing bioactive hydrogel scaffolds.
