Dr. Kathy Alikhani is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Endodontics at Boston University’s Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she completed both her dental education and postgraduate studies in endodontics. Dr. Alikhani has led the design and development of the EZ-Guide—a device created in collaboration with Boston University’s School of Biomedical Engineering. The EZ-Guide enables endodontists to capture reproducible off-angle radiographs, enhancing diagnostic precision and procedural accuracy. Dr. Alikhani is currently overseeing ex- vivo studies of the EZ-Guide, with plans to initiate human trials, aiming to bring innovative imaging solutions to endodontic practice and improve patient care.
