Endodontics Chief Resident
Dr. Amro Elkhatieb is the Chief Resident in Endodontics at the University of the Pacific's Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He earned his BDS and completed his initial endodontic residency in Egypt before relocating to San Francisco to join the Dugoni School's International Dental Studies program. After earning his DDS degree, he practiced general dentistry in Northern California for seven years. Returning to his alma mater, he pursued advanced endodontics training. In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Elkhatieb taught as an adjunct faculty member in preclinical endodontics and held various leadership roles within the Dugoni School Alumni Association, the California Dental Association, and local dental societies. Currently, he serves as a Delegate for California’s 13th District in the ADA House of Delegates. He has presented at numerous local and national conferences, including events organized by the AAE, ADEA, ASDA, and various dental schools.
