Dr. Sgro is currently a graduate student at The University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry completing his master’s degree and specialty training in Endodontics. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry, New York, USA in 2021, he then completed a hospital dental residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Ontario. During his DDS program he received the Edward G. Kaufman Scholarship, Samuel Charles Miller Award, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon for outstanding academic achievement. He has been involved alongside his present research team in publishing a series of papers evaluating endodontic outcome literature to aid in developing a framework with the goal of improving the quality of published evidence.
