Research Assistant
University of Michigan School of Dentistry
With over six years of experience in advanced dental procedures, I have cultivated a passion for excellence in root canal therapies and endodontic care. My journey began in India, where I rigorously trained as a dentist and conducted impactful research on root canal irrigation materials, focusing on conservative and patient-centric treatments.
Eager to push the boundaries of my knowledge, I pursued postgraduate research in regenerative endodontics at the esteemed University of Michigan. My work explored the use of a double antibiotic paste as an intracanal medicament, demonstrating its potential to promote root formation with low cytotoxicity and a broader antibacterial spectrum at lower concentrations compared to existing DAP formulations, a breakthrough in conservative root canal therapy.
Currently, I am gaining hands-on experience at the University of Michigan Dental Clinic to seamlessly integrate into American dental practices and systems. This opportunity prepares me to pursue the endodontic specialty program in the upcoming cycle, aligning with my long-term goals of advancing the field.
