I am an international dentist with a Master’s degree in Biomaterials from New York University (NYU) and am currently studying at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. My research focuses on optimizing clinical outcomes in dentistry by studying the behavior of dental materials in oral environments. I have authored several peer-reviewed publications on topics such as the wear resistance, discoloration, and surface roughness of ceramics and resin composites under erosive and abrasive challenges in the oral cavity. I also serve as a research assistant in the Endodontic Laboratory at Pacific’s School of Dentistry.
Our most recent study investigates the impact of sealer type and post cementation timing on fiber post retention. With the increasing use of bioceramic sealers in endodontics and the growing popularity of fiber posts in restorative dentistry, this research highlights the importance of determining optimal post cementation timing to maximize post retention. By comparing the effects of immediate post cementation to post cementation performed one week later, we aim to provide valuable evidence to guide further clinical studies and enhance the understanding of post-retention dynamics following endodontic treatments.
