Geetanjali is a microbiologist with nearly 20 years of experience in industrial R&D, specializing in biocatalysis, microbial strain improvement, and enzymatic biotransformation. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biotechnology. Her recent research at the University of Pennsylvania focuses on fusion therapeutic proteins and industrial enzymes expresser for dental plaque reduction, infectious diseases, metabolic diseases, and green process development. She has developed fermentation products like cellulase, laccase, lignin peroxidases, Rifamycin, Lovastatin, Tacrolimus, and Hyaluronic acid. She is experienced in toxicology studies, product characterization, IND applications, GDP, and GLP documentation.
