Holds a degree in Dentistry from the Faculdade da Zona Leste de São Paulo (now Cidade of São Paulo University) (1988), a Master's degree in Dentistry (Endodontics) from the University of São Paulo (1996), and a Ph.D. in Dentistry (Endodontics) from the University of São Paulo (1998).
