Dr. Alireza Moshaverinia is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a tenured professor at UCLA School of Dentistry, Section of Prosthodontics. He earned his D.D.S. degree in 2004 in Iran, followed by a Master of Science in Dental Biomaterials from The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, in 2009. In 2012, he completed advanced clinical education in Prosthodontics and obtained a PhD in Craniofacial Biology from the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Dr. Moshaverinia has authored over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles on dental materials, implant dentistry, and stem cell-mediated tissue engineering. He serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Prosthodontics and is an editorial board member for several scientific journals, including the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. His NIH-funded research focuses on the development of novel dental biomaterials and regulation of stem cell-mediated bone and tissue regeneration and the role of biomaterials.
