Dr. Nima Moaven, originally from Iran, earned his undergraduate degree in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and went on to complete a Master of Science in Biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University. He then achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. During this time, he conducted research at the National Institutes of Health and published in prestigious journals, including the Journal of Biological Chemistry and Science Translational Medicine.
After dental school, Dr. Moaven specialized in Pediatric Dentistry at UCLA, becoming a board-certified Pediatric Dentist. Identifying a significant need for specialized endodontic care for children, he pursued additional training in Endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Moaven now practices as both an Endodontist and Pediatric Dentist in Phoenix, Arizona. He is dedicated to advancing dental education, serving as a lecturer at UCLA School of Dentistry and as an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
