Dr Nandana Patil received her Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics from the prestigious Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai in 1983/1985. She initiated her career as a Full-time educator at Nair Hospital Dental College in 1985, and commenced her own dental practice in 1992. She then actively served as part time teacher at various dental schools all over India.
Dr. Patil owns a practice that offers high quality dental care and has been dealing with referrals of difficult, complex root canal cases. Being in a profession that deals primarily with pain and anxiety, her unique style of rendering service and amicable nature, effortlessly puts her patients at ease. That comfort and confidence has kept them coming back to her for decades.
She is an MUHS approved Professor with 22 years of academic affiliations and 32 years of experience in exclusive private practice.. She passionately involves herself with conducting hands-on courses in India, to promote evidence-based Endodontics and inculcate values in leading a meaningful professional life.
Dr Patil has been attending the AAE annual meetings for the past several years. She has also lectured Endodontic residents at the School of Dentistry Tel Aviv, Israel (2013), CWRU Dental school Cleveland, Ohio (2012,2014), and the Goldman School of Dental Medicine Boston, MA (2014,2018).
In July 2016, the Program Director Endodontics at Boston University and she gave a joint webinar from the United States on Disinfection in Endodontics to more than 1200 dentists in India. Jan 2018 – July 2018, they set up a 3 Module joint venture with Boston University and Indian Dental Association to impart endodontic skills to dentists.
