Dr. Adam Lloyd is a distinguished Professor of Endodontics and Division Head of Endodontics at the School of Dentistry. With a career marked by both academic and clinical excellence, he also serves as the Director of the Endodontology Graduate Program. Dr. Lloyd’s commitment to endodontic education and patient care has been recognized through numerous awards and honors.
He was named UTHSC Faculty of the Year by the Graduating Class in 2015, an accolade that highlights his dedication to teaching. In 2010, he received both the prestigious Edward M. Osetek Award from the American Association of Endodontists and the UTHSC SGAEC Excellence in Teaching Award, reflecting his significant contributions to endodontic education and his role in shaping future practitioners. Early in his career, Dr. Lloyd was honored with the Fred Harty Medal Award from the British Endodontic Society in 1993, underscoring his longstanding impact on the field of endodontics.
Through his leadership in the Division of Endodontics and his ongoing commitment to advanced endodontic training, Dr. Lloyd continues to influence the field, driving innovation and excellence in endodontic education and clinical practice.
