Dr. Chen is a Professor in the Department of Endodontics at University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Her research focuses on rare genetic bone disorders, including craniometaphyseal dysplasia and cherubism, using various genetic and molecular approaches. She also focuses on endodontic research to develop physiomarkers to assist with endodontic diagnosis and pain measurement in dentistry.
