Dr. Christine Peters is Adjunct Associate Professor in Endodontics at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry. Dr. Peters received her degree in dentistry from the University of Heidelberg, Germany in 1992 and held a position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry from 1992 till 1996. From 1997 till 2004, Dr. Peters worked as Assistant Professor in the Division of Endodontics at University of Zurich Dental School, where she completed her postgraduate endodontic training in 2001.
Christine taught at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco from 2001 till 2020. In 2006, Christine became Associate Professor at the University of the Pacific Dental School, and subsequently in 2012 Professor of Endodontology.
In 2020, Christine moved to Brisbane, Australia, where she holds a position as Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry.
Dr. Peters has published in leading textbooks and peer-reviewed journals and lectured both nationally and internationally. She serves on the review panel of several endodontic journals, including the Journal of Endodontics and the International Endodontic Journal. Christine is a former president of the Northern California Academy of Endodontics and president of the Australian Society of Endodontists Queensland Branch.
