Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming endodontic education by providing innovative tools that enhance comprehension, engagement, and accessibility. This presentation will focus on two key applications—Notebook LM and a custom-built chatbot for University of the Pacific (UOP) students—to showcase how AI can simplify complex material and create a more dynamic learning environment.
In this table clinic, Notebook LM will be demonstrated as a powerful tool for converting endodontic content into audio formats, like podcasts, allowing students to engage with material in flexible, easily digestible ways. By transforming lectures and research articles into accessible audio resources, this tool enables efficient absorption and retention of complex concepts.
We will also present an AI-powered UOP-specific chatbot, offering students immediate, targeted answers to questions about course materials and manuals. This chatbot enhances clinical experience and performance by providing quick access to precise information, supporting students as they navigate clinical scenarios and apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.
Together, these AI-driven solutions elevate endodontic education, creating a more interactive, personalized learning experience that meets diverse student needs. This integrated approach empowers students with a richer, more personalized learning experience that drives both academic and professional development.
