An increase in invasive cervical resorption (ICR)has been anecdotallynoted by endodontistsand general practitioners.Unfortunately, this resorption is of unknownetiologyand the reason for such rise in case numbers is unknown at the present time. The aim of this table clinic is to describe cases using an innovative treatment approach for class II andIII cervical resorption lesions in the esthetic zone. The material of choice for this procedure isEmdogain.Emdogain, otherwise known as enamel matrix derivative, is a gel often applied to the roots of teeth during periodontal surgery. It has a positive effect on root coverage procedures, and it is used to facilitate better healing and minimize gingival recession. Due to the normal occurrence of ICR in the esthetic zone of patients, it is of paramount importance that the clinician utilizes tools to maintain a p</span>ositivegingivalarchitecture. It has been noted in these cases that the soft tissue demonstrated excellent healing which maintained the esthetic gingival contour of the area. Treatment of invasive cervical resorption with Emdogain could prove to be a promising novel treatment approach for such cases.
