Dr. Madhu Nair, Dept Head of Diagnostic Sciences, is a board-certified radiologist and Director of the Imaging Center at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. His research interests include artificial intelligence, radiology informatics, Tuned-Aperture-Computed-Tomography (TACT)/tomosynthesis, acquisition-platform/algorithm development, quantitative imaging including fractal analysis, and cochlear-implant imaging. He has authored/co-authored >200 peer-reviewed publications, and chapters in neuroradiology, endodontics, maxillofacial surgery, and radiology textbooks. Extramural funding totaled $3.3 million during his tenure at Pittsburgh, Florida and TAMU. His service in national/international organizations, editorial boards, accreditation commission, NIH as well as director of the American Board of OMR, and chair of a joint national panel developing guidelines for use of cone-beam computed-tomography in endodontics is well recognized.
