Nezar Al-Hebshi is an Associate Professor and Co-director of the Oral Microbiome Research Laboratory at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry (USA), and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Center for Microbiology and Immunology, Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine. He is also a primary member of the Fox Chase Cancer Center. He obtained his PhD in oral microbiology from the University of Bergen, Norway (2005), and his bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from the University of Science and Technology (UST), Yemen (1999). Before moving to the USA, he held faculty and research positions in Yemen and Saudi Arabia between 2006 and 2015. Dr. Al-Hebshi has more than 50 publications, holds an h-index of 31, and has presented his research findings at meetings across four continents.
