Dr. Jinah Kim is currently a first year resident in the Endodontics Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She received her DMD from the University of New England and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (2024). Previously, she was a neuroscience researcher studying ion channel physiology and neurocircuitry in diseases such as ataxia and autism spectrum disorder, completing her PhD at Northwestern and a postdoctoral fellowship at MIT. Her current research interests include biomarkers to predict outcomes in vital pulp therapy and differential diagnosis of apical periodontitis.
