Dr. Mackert attended the University of Washington, where she was a member of the Husky Marching Band as a piccolo player and went on to obtain her DDS from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. She then completed her AEGD Residency through NYU Langone Dental Medicine based at HealthPoint CHC. After completing her residency program, she provided care as a dental provider at HealthPoint CHC and became an Affiliate Faculty for the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and NYU Langone Dental Medicine AEGD Residency Program and went on to receive a Master of Health Administration from Cornell University. Dr. Mackert is highly motivated with a strong interest in increasing oral healthcare equity, while keeping up to date with dental educational practices. Dr. Mackert maintains a dental practice in VCU Faculty Practice.
The AAE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider, a recognized provider in California (#2030), Florida (#PP0049). Programs of the AAE (#214682) are accepted by AGD for Fellowship/Mastership credit. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. The AAE designates this activity for up to 29.5 continuing education credits. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at ada.org/cerp.
