Dr. Ramzi Antoine Sarkis received his specialty training in Endodontics from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, as well as his DMD, CAGS in AEGD, and MSD in Endodontics. Before studying in the United States, Dr. Sarkis pursued post-doctoral studies in oral biology, anatomy, radiology and a fellowship in periodontal surgery in Paris, France, and in oral surgery in Beirut, Lebanon where he also received his first dental degree in 1994 from Saint Joseph University.
Dr. Sarkis has been teaching at BUGSDM since 1999 first as a clinical instructor in the department of restorative sciences (AEGD program) then starting in 2005 as a faculty member of the Endodontics department. At BUGSDM, he served as the Director ad interim of the advanced education program in Endodontics where he currently holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor. He also is in full time private practice at Lexington Endodontics. Dr. Sarkis has presented nationally and internationally on multiple endodontic topics. He is member of the OKU Dental Society and past president of the Middlesex District Dental Society and the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists.
