Robert Bossong graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University with a degree in Biological Sciences. During his three years at college, he was a teaching assistant for General Physics I and II and Lead TA for auto-tutorial Biochemistry. Robert also served as the Secretary of the Surgical Society and Chairman of the Student Union Board. A Hunter R. Rawlings III Presidential Research Scholar, he conducted undergraduate research on calcific aortic valve disease in the Butcher Lab. Robert graduated as a Merrill Presidential Scholar and received the CALS Academic Excellence Award for the Biological Sciences major. After graduation, he spent time researching acute myeloid leukemia as a Research Assistant/Lab Manager in the Lane Lab at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Currently, Robert is a D3 at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Outside of conducting research in the Gibbs Lab, he serves as an Executive Board Member of the Endodontic Journal Club, President of the Business and Practice Management Club, and a Peer Advising Liason.
