Dr. José Francisco Gaviño Orduña graduated in Dentistry from the University of Barcelona (UB) in 2005, completed his Research Sufficiency in 2009, and recently earned his PhD from the same institution.
Dr. Gaviño has extensive teaching experience, having served as a Collaborating Professor in the Postgraduate Course in Endodontics and the Master of Integrated Adult Dentistry at UB from 2008 to 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor of Conservative Dentistry at UB, where he combines his passion for teaching with his dedication to advancing dental research.
As a researcher, Dr. Gaviño has collaborated with the IDIBELL-Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute under the Generalitat de Catalunya, contributing to innovative projects in the field. He has also published extensively in high-impact scientific journals, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based practice.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Gaviño maintains a successful clinical practice specializing in endodontics, conservative dentistry, and surgical procedures. Recognized for his expertise and leadership, he is an active participant in international conferences, where he shares his knowledge and insights with the global dental community.
