Issam Ghaben, BDS, DMD, is a second-year endodontic resident at UT Health San Antonio. Originally from Palestine, Dr. Ghaben earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from October University for Modern Sciences and Arts in Egypt, followed by a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program.

In 2020, Dr. Ghaben obtained his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was honored with the PASS International Dentist Award and received Honors in Clinical Dentistry. After graduation, he practiced general dentistry for three years before he joined the endodontic residency program at UT Health San Antonio.
