Dr. Satish Alapati is an Associate Professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Illinois Chicago. He also holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor in Pediatric Dentistry and Bioengineering. Dr. Alapati earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), a Certificate in General Practice Residency, a Master’s in Dental Materials, and a Ph.D. in Oral Biology from Ohio State University. He later obtained a Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Illinois Chicago.
Dr. Alapati has co-authored two book chapters and published 40 research papers. He has presented more than 100 times at various national and international conferences. From 2015 to 2019, he served as a Trustee for the Foundation for Endodontics and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for the Illinois State Dental Society. Additionally, he contributes to the American Dental Association Science & Research Institute Council, focusing on subcommittees that address Dental Products and Dental Informatics.
In addition to his academic duties, Dr. Alapati is actively involved with the Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois Dental Organization. He practices Endodontics at the Allen Anderson Faculty Dental Practice.
