Dr. Austin Whitmore is a second year post-graduate endodontic resident at New York University (NYU) School of Dentistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2019. He went on to serve in the United States Navy as a Dental Officer. Stationed in both Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and Camp Pendleton, California, he provided general dental care to active duty sailors and marines of the 1st and 2nd Marine Expeditionary Forces. During his time as a Lieutenant in the Navy, he served several roles including: Interim Clinic Director of 53 Area Dental Clinic Horno, Readiness Officer, Dental Supply Officer, Code Blue Officer, Wardroom Social Executive, Infection Control Officer, and COVID-19 Call Center Volunteer. After completion of his service, he went on to pursue his education in endodontics through the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics at NYU.
