Dr. Liu serves as a Scientific Advisory Board member for the Journal of Endodontics. He serves as an Editorial Board Member, Guest Editor, and Social Media Editor for Bioactive Materials. He is also an academic editor of BMC Oral Health. Furthermore, he serves as a reviewer for over 40 peer-reviewed journals. His research primarily focuses on advanced dental biomaterials, innovative dental technologies and clinical research. He has published over 80 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has received the UBC Four Year Doctoral Fellowship and the Joseph Tonzetich Fellowship in recognition of his abilities and accomplishments in dental research.
